Character Analysis #2: Foil Characters

Hero & Beatrice: Foil Characters

Hero is said to be a brunette and below average height, while Beatrice is said to be a blond and slightly taller. There is also a very inconspicuous difference between the attitudes and perspectives of the two. Hero appears shy and timid, while Beatrice seems strong-willed and determined to shun Benedick for his inflicting wounds to her own love and ego.

Beatrice, however, wants to be viewed as tenacious when it is revealed that Benedick has fallen in love with her. Here, she can be seen as doubtful in her own ability to allow a man to love her, for she believes that this is impossible. So Beatrice is unsure of whether or not to engage herself in love and romance once more, while Hero is confident in the connection between herself and Claudio.

So Hero and Beatrice are a big, big part of the story. They sort of hold the whole story together. They keep the plot on point. They keep it very interesting as the story goes on.  For example she never thought she would ever get married or fall in love again withBenedick. She had hatred for Benedicl, so she than tricked herself into falling madly in love with him, but in the end, they end up being together. Hero, dreamed of being together with Claudio, but with Don John's cruel plan, it never worked out. SHe than faked her death to get CLaudio's attention into regretting the shame he has made of her. So don't always think things are going to go the way you want it to be, because it would possibly just go wrong.

Best Journal Entry

Warm-up: Opinion and Evidence

#6: Jealousy in a romantic relationship is usually a sign of problems being formed. Maybe the girl that the boy is with has a secret admirer or it could be the other way around. Who knows? It may even be your best friends or even family! Most problems in relationships involve jealousy and hate the outcome is often the relationship being placed apart. The cause is usually rumors that form into fights and dislike of one another.
#5: Men are attracted to women who are assertive and bod because maybe that’s what they both have in common. Both girl and boy may be into sports and all the hard core stuff. Strong and bold is what most men like and are attracted to. Looks and everything else don’t really matter. What matters, is what’s inside the heart.
-This entry exemplifies my best work because it shows an explanation of advice. Maybe some people need advice on what’s up with relationships. Rumors are number one in difficulties in relationships. How do I know? Experience. Another reason why this exemplifies my work is because; I’ve tried my best to get this done in about five minutes. Although Ms. Kline’ strict code of conduct is very bold and serious, we are able to pull through. After 1 whole semester, were sort of getting the hang of it. This journal entry shows a reflection of reading from the book, “Much Ado about Nothing”. It also shows that I explained my thoughts through advice and the truth.
I've managed my impulsivity to take some thoughts and put it on paper. But, not too much time. Also some time to see what I've written to make sense. Errors fixed, and sentences fixed. I stopped to make adjustments and to clearly explain myself, just in case I share it to the class.
The Glo I’ve used to get this done is being a self-directed learner. After Ms. Kline’s instructions we are to go straight to work. I have directed myself without further instructions. If any questions I would try and figure it out myself than go back to work. I’ve just went through by directing myself without any support unless instructed by Ms. Kline.

Close Analysis of Text

"Sigh No More"

Don't you cry, women, don't you cry
Men believe what's not true
Should I go in, or go out
Or keep on going, not stopping
Don't you cry
Release them so
While cheerful and beautiful
Changing all your misery and stress
From boyfriend to, non-boyfriend.

Don't sing a short melody, sing not
Or feeling down in the dumps
For men who have been lying many times
Summer is full of leaves and green fun
Then don't you cry
But release them so
Being cheerful and beautiful
Changing all your misery and stress
From boyfriend to , non-boyfriend

Men lie, men are greedy for your love, and leave you crying for better or for worse. Men have there own ways of letting women but still leave them running back for more. You just need to give it some time. Or even let them go. Do it for yourself, family, and friends. Do it for the better. You do not need a man to define you. Do not be afraid of your partner. For he/she will probably most likely be afraid of YOU. e careful men and women for you both are greedy and desperate. Not all but some.

Women respond with a sigh a tear. They either let them go or come back. Women, let them go for you will be better off without them. Would you rather be blithe yet bonny or depressed and unhappy. Boyfriend or no boyfriend, the just will always be YOURS. Don't let men waste your time. If they ignore, most likely ignore them. Women are stronger than men in some way. You don't need a man to make you happy or to fit in. Like I said before women, you don't need a man to define YOU. You are who you are. Man or man your good BOTH ways. :)

I agree in some kind of way. Don't cry for men. It's not worth it. Your blithe and bonny with or without them. They will completely change your lives in some kind o way, even forever. Whether good or bad, you're on your own.

Balthasar sings this song to Don Pedro, Claudio, and Leonato in preparation of trapping Benedick. These men are about to trap Signior Benedick so Balthasar sings this little melody to get there minds to it in preparation. He sang to to let him woo no longer. Because Don Pedro spoke of wooing, Balthasar will then sing to the men. Don Pedro wants to put a frown on Benedick's face.

This song reflects on the play because it goes so well with what they were about to do next. It sort of goes along with the trap that will be placed on Benedick. The emotions formed during this discussion kind of relates to what s going to happen. Both Benedick and Beatrice are going to be hurt.

I think Don pedro and his co-conspirators choose thing because it totally goes along with what they were about to do. They hurt these women in a way that they will just have to let go. The emotions that will form during this will match with the torture and such selfishness these men have in tem for doing this to such precious women.

Character Analysis #1:

The character I admire the most is, Beatrice. I really enjoy Beatrice's mean self because we kind of relate in a certain fierce way. We got an attitude Men can't handle. We sort of have things in common. Were mean and we have our ways. I connect with this character because we've got many in common. As stated above.

Beatrice is serious and romantic. She's serious when she speaks her mind and romantic when she speaks of love. I really enjoy listening to how she reacts to what people have to say about her. She stands up for herself, which I like truly. Beatrice is like a dog in a fence guarding whoever comes in or out. She will bark her words out if she's being bothered or disturbed. While Benedick on the other hand I guess likes this about her. I sure hope Beatrice and Benedick are able to work things out, which is pretty going well s far. They've gotten tricked, which I sort of do not like. It's mean and disrespectful. But I guess it's best for their love, to get back together and live their lives.
